omni::compiletime::strlen

constexpr size_t omni::compiletime::strlen(const char *str)

Returns the length of the string at compile time.

Parameters

str[in] The string to calculate the length of. This string must either be a string literal or another constexpr symbol that can be evaluated at compile time. This may not be nullptr.

Returns

The total number of elements in the string. Note that this does not necessarily count the length in chaacters of a UTF-8 string properly. It effectively counts how many entries (ie: bytes in this case) are in the string’s buffer up to but not including the terminating null character.
