omni::compiletime::strlen¶

constexpr size_t omni::compiletime::strlen(const char *str)¶

Returns the length of the string at compile time.

Parameters: str – [in] The string to calculate the length of. This string must either be a string literal or another constexpr symbol that can be evaluated at compile time. This may not be nullptr.
Returns: The total number of elements in the string. Note that this does not necessarily count the length in chaacters of a UTF-8 string properly. It effectively counts how many entries (ie: bytes in this case) are in the string’s buffer up to but not including the terminating null character.
